My Poem: "The Silent Cry"
POST: My Poem: "The Silent Cry"
The Silent Cry
Dear World, Dear People
In silence do I cry
My hopes are mute
And my dreams are flowing by the streams unrealized
Camped by the land of silence
I became an Islander of sorrow
Enslaved by my future tomorrow
I ask: Who will be there for me???
I envisioned a better tomorrow
If only today's world could mentor me
I will reach there... I will be there
And I shall be a somebody from a nobody
Yes! I do believe
As the Heavenly clouds smile broadly
And walk over our eyes
We will be moved to show care
What I have I will share with the less privileged
Thereby speaking the language of LOVE.
