My Poem: "Africa"
resource: My Poem: "Africa"
Africa
Africa our homeland
Unique are we in our ways
Beautiful faces of our land
Don't quench the smiles
That scare sorrow away
As darkness shy and abscond our land
Remember the values our ancestors taught us
Judge not: we are one people
All humanity are descendants of His creation
Sharpen your weapons
Poverty, disease and ignorance we will wage an unending war
And not my fellow African
Remember the values our ancestors taught us
Our problems, who will solve them all?
Not a foreigner... but you the African!
Work while others worry
Unique are we in our ways
Beautiful faces of our land
Don't quench the smiles
That scare sorrow away
As darkness shy and abscond our land
Remember the values our ancestors taught us
Judge not: we are one people
All humanity are descendants of His creation
Sharpen your weapons
Poverty, disease and ignorance we will wage an unending war
And not my fellow African
Remember the values our ancestors taught us
Our problems, who will solve them all?
Not a foreigner... but you the African!
Work while others worry
And find joy in what you do
The Almighty's favour shall dwell with us forever
God bless our homeland Africa!

Africa is the next hope for the world.
Let's join hands to make this a dream come true.
God bless you all.
